The manager of the Italian national softball team has announced the team roster containing the 14 players who will be on the hunt for the ticket for the Olympic Games in Tokyo 2020. In the eve of the team’s departure to Utrecht, scheduled for Friday July 19, one more dropout will be announced. All participating countries are allowed to make five more changes to the final roster during the Technical Meeting, which takes place on Monday July 22.

To support manager Enrico Obletter a technical staff will travel with him, consisting of coaches Federico Pizzolini, Julio La Rosa and Giovanni Palermi, the medical staff formed by Gaetano Schiavottiello and Elio Paolini. Federal councilor Roberta Soldi and team manager Claudia Venturini will also travel with them.
Italy kicks off the tournament on Tuesday, July 23 at 1:00 PM with a game against Botswana.
